@SanctuaryTO loves thy neighbour, for which they are being sued, by neighbour Casa Condos. Demonizing a missionary for radical kindness and care is an ancient tale repeated. This grateful member of the Sanctuary community stands with them forever. https://t.co/pmrmtNAJsA
This episode is the worst although I love the podcast otherwise. Don’t mistake mental illness for a societal trend about the object of psychotic scorn. This is shabby content for @nytimes: https://t.co/l23mGUg9dc.
Another murder in the alley behind the Carnagie We need to get people off the street and in to safe places. We need to design alleys so that they are safe.
How will AI change public services and the public sector? You don’t need to retain consultants. Just read the collective agreements that govern what governments can do and how workers will adopt AI. Or read and follow this series: https://t.co/4aKRnaTMWb
@cvangeyn If anyone gets their hands on a copy of Centa J. judgement, please post! Oral reasons unlikely published but who knows. Maybe someone has something. I don't know if written reasons to follow.
Dividing a vote on 1st reading of bill - decried by @VaughnPalmer below- was more common in @lao_english for a time. I hated it as House Leader and the tactic escalates bad behaviour in leg, but it’s a sign of times in BC. #division#bcpoli https://t.co/v7xV8I88xu
I’m grateful to know #DTES community leaders like @sarahblyth, and many more. I continue to meet as many as possible during the ongoing efforts by @Dave_Eby to better the #DTES. TBC

The best thing any Premier could do would be to bring someone to the dtes to talk with everyone and help us. We need help....in case you havent noticed...
Michael Bryant is a good listener. im happy for anyone coming to the DTES to help make a plan or give advice. We've had @ClaireRattee in the office and she's welcome back. Its time to put our heads together so we can help people. Michael Bryant spent time with Trey and I hope he learned a lot from Trey they shared a passion for recovery. Anyone who wants to sit at a desk next to me and help people is welcome.

Join us tomorrow afternoon for "Organized Justice Redux," featuring former Attorney General of Ontario, Executive Director of the CCLA, and CEO of Legal Aid BC Michael Bryant!
CDN courts not built for speed. An “expedited” and “urgent” hearing = just under a month. https://t.co/GKlHZMOC2G
UK courts issued judgement in that time in Miller II (Brexit). Even faster resolution in US for Bush v Gore (2000) and 2017 Travel Ban litigation by ACLU.
Feds washing their hands of First Nation child welfare reform (https://t.co/0cJ8cTcN5P), abdicating their responsibility to right the wrong of their ongoing discrimination against kids on reserve. There is a better approach: https://t.co/lhE0KhY2AD
