@glenngabe Hey @glenngabe@rustybrick, seeing odd data in one of my client's accounts. These search queries are generating very large imp. numbers, but I can only see those if I filter by "2026" or by a landing page that has shot up in imp.
Hearing any impression stories since this update?
@brodieseo Hey, have you seen some recoveries since the 14th for image impressions? If so, overall im not seeing too many large changes to impressions across gsc reports, are you?
@glenngabe Hey @glenngabe have you had a chance to play around with this more? Just wondering if anyone has looked into comparing the data between BWT & GA4 referrals? And then, who falls into their Select partner AI integrations grouping (& if there is a correlation with ChatGPT referrals)
@randfish Love it, could we do the same with % of people searching on social platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram) vs users just consuming content? (If this is already in there, fantastic, I could only see X within the charts I believe).
@rustybrick@glenngabe Sorry I was more meaning the no citations or sources appearing in the AI Mode result once I land there. I have seen the AIO to AI Mode link appear a few times now, but the AI Mode result still returner sources, this example had zero which I found very odd!
@glenngabe Lovely, will get my US VPN on and give it a try. Any thoughts on the Google using a users personal settings in the “preferred sources” settings, and then this impacting the sites Google will return within AIO/AI Mode results?
@glenngabe Great examples! Did you simply jump into Gemini and start testing, or did you have to sign up to some sort of beta/lab test?
One thought Google allowed us to set our "Preferred Sources" for news content - Is there any suggestion that this setting will feed into PI?
@rmstein Thanks for the updates Robby, will this data appear in GSC after the user is moved from the AIO to AI Mode? Or will only the initial AIO triggered search generate impressions passed to GSC?
