Deescalation is entirely &only a #Pak option. We only targeted terrorist spots; all escalation after that was from Pak. But commonsense, war manuals, laotze, Chanakya, Machiavelli &Confuciius, all teach us that if #pak continues 2escalate, #India shd complete the mission with only 2 objectives: reoccupy #POK (even parl resolution exhorts us to do so) &permanently eliminate both individual terrorists & 9 addl of their other known strongholds like the ones destroyed a few days ago. Sometimes a sledgehammer alone brings an early quietus; not half measures.

I have an issue with this, because the team has already been handsomely rewarded for their incredible performance.
I can understand the players positions, they would never have asked to be so rewarded, & it would be churlish and difficult to refuse. What drives me crazy though is rewarding the already rewarded when so little money is spent on grass root sport in India.
If one wanted to make the photo-op newsworthy enough, why not honour these cricketers by instituting an 11 crore scholarship for young Maharashtra cricketers in their names!
