Please request to see this Document when buying a used car. Then take it and verify the following:

1. Title Holder
2. Owner
3. VIN
4. Engine Number
5. Status
6. Original

The one selling must be the title holder, the document must state original and not duplicate. Match VIN and Engine on the actual car, not on the disc !! If it’s a used car the Status will say Used, if it says Built-Up, you probably driving a previously written off car or a previously de-registered and re-registered and some other reason.

Verify everything before you sign the contract. This little exercise can save you 🙏🏾
