"Last month, the ADF successfully employed a prototype ground-based active missile defence system to engage an airborne target with a Standard Missile-2, at the Woomera test range in South Australia during Exercise Taipan Strike 26.
The missile firing integrated an Australian radar that communicated with a United States weapon control system and missile launcher, to shoot down a cruise missile target [(BQM-74E Target Drone)] with an Australian missile. This followed a period of close collaboration, innovation and engineering to produce this successful prototype.
Australian industry partner CEA Technologies worked with Lockheed Martin to complete this first-of-type integration between a CEA radar and the Aegis Combat System."

The emerging US-Iran framework, according to a senior official from a mediating country, although the official says the exact mechanisms haven't been defined, and the unfreezing of funds and sanctions relief haven't been agreed:
-US, Israel ceasefire in Iran, Lebanon
-US lifts blockade (no stipulation on US removing any assets from CENTCOM)
-US unfreezes Iranian money, lifts sanctions
-Iran gradual reopening of the Strait
-Iran uranium enrichment freeze. 10-20 years. (Number not yet agreed. No stipulation on what Iran is or is not allowed to do after the timeframe)
-Export HEU. No final decision yet, but Iran has suggested to the IAEA.
-IAEA access to nuclear sites
-Iran pledges not to operate underground nuclear facilities
Apparently five additional E-7 AEW&C are planned to be included in USAF's FY27 procurement request [Via amendment] in addition to the five E-7 AEW&C added in FY26 [EMD] and the two E-7's part of the Air Force's original MTA. This should take the total on contract, or budgeted to 12 E-7 AEWC. 👇👇
Testimony:
"The E-7 was not originally in the FY27 [procurement] submission. We have recently been working with the Office of Secretary of War (OSW) to get that budget amendment to the OMB to include funding for FY27 in support for 5 additional E-7 aircraft." ~ Lieutenant General David H. Tabor, USAF
"The [Air Moving Target Indicator (AMTI)] capabilities that are happening in space are far exceeding our expectations. I would welcome the opportunity in a different [classified] forum to tell you exactly why I feel that way." ~ Major General Christopher J. Niemi, USAF
