I had shut down (or damn near shut down) my business for about a year.

It was a really dark time for me, but this year, after a discussion with my CPA and really close individuals, I decided against it. I really didn't want to take on clients anymore and just wanted to focus on production. But production takes money, creates overhead, requires capital. And that requires... clients

My website rankings when we were blowing and going were really good, I ranked incredibly high for alot of keywords and we would receive about 5 organic inquiries a week on average without advertising or posting or anything.

I turned the GMB back on a few weeks ago, and I had relaunched the website maybe 3 months ago, and I tell you what, those rankings came back pretty quick.

I don't rank for all the keywords I used to, mainly because it's a completely different site that has a different goal, but the inquiries have already started, and we got our first meeting with a new client for a music video this weekend.

It was painful to step away, but it was needed. Now i'm back, and i'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of what I love to do again... And that is to create.

So let's light one up, and celebrate our art the way it was meant to be celebrated, which is creating it.

This was one of the ones where the other Ad300 didn't want to cooperate and only one was firing. I was hoping to save it, the contrast between light and dark might be a bit too much, though. What do you think?
