To add to my previous post, I am not defending the two Vietnamese pro players—unfair gameplay should be punished. However, the issue here is that there are loopholes within the rules.

The PUBG Vietnam official posted an apology to the Vietnamese players for the miscommunication and then quickly deleted it, and the organizer only updated the rules after the incident! This means the Vietnamese players had actually asked for permission. If they knew it was cheating, why would they do it without hesitation and just for fun? One of them is a world champion, after all; would they cheat at that level? If they had a cheating mindset, would they still have followers and be allowed to join the All-Star tournament? They got permission. If the rulebooks had been clear, they wouldn't have done it, especially since they have been in professional tournaments before.

What disgusts me here is that the Korean streamer, instead of handling this without triggering and unnecessarily escalating the issue, posted a video accusing the two players without any investigation. Furthermore, Krafton has shown no accountability, choosing instead to shift the blame entirely onto the Vietnamese players. As a result, Korean netizens just assume that all Vietnamese players cheat and look down on others, instead of looking into the actual circumstances. Honestly, who cheats so openly? It's frustrating when Koreans immediately assume the worst and look down on others. Disgusting.

In a for fun PUBG tournament where stream sniping wasn't considered a violation under the rules, a Korean streamer successfully 'faked a foul', stirred up drama, rallied their viewers, and pressured Krafton into changing the rules, breaking them in the process, just to appease Korean public opinion and retain their sponsors.

Vietnamese players, Himass and Tanvuu, were banned from competing over an unofficial tournament where they weren't actually in the wrong. Shortly after, a large number of influential Vietnamese players, streamers, and pro players uninstalled PUBG. With no publisher present, the game is expected to be banned in Vietnam soon, and PUBG will likely lose around 50% of its esports viewership in the near future.

Regarding AAA Popularity Voting

1. Why we are not entering the popularity vote

AAA’s male group popularity award is a fan choice battle against large K-pop fanbases. The later rounds are too costly for what they are. LNGSHOT will most likely receive a rookie award at this ceremony that matters most. Skipping the popularity vote does not mean they will not feel our love or support.

2. Timing and resources

The later voting rounds are expected to overlap with LNGSHOT’s music show appearances. Music show wins are real recognition for any Kpop group; LNGSHOT deserves that focus. We believe Chamsims collected on IDOLCHAMP should go toward those wins, not be split with AAA. Asking to fight two battles at once would be counterproductive when one of them matters the most.

3. The boycott

Yes, KSH on the AAA lineup should be boycotted because of Kim Saeron’s death. We’ve posted about it before, and we did not do it to follow a trend. Her death represents far more than a single tragedy or headline, and KSH is not a bystander in that story. This is someone who used his power over another person, used his influence to stain her name, then drove her to the end. It is the same pattern so many in the entertainment industry face; the ones with power win and get celebrated, whilst the people they crushed are erased without any justice. That is what AAA is choosing to platform. We will not support any organization that so openly rewards power over human decency.

We understand everyone's concerns over our contribution to this voting as a fanbase. We remain committed to supporting and promoting LNGSHOT first. However, we are also still humans with values; one award will never be worth our morals and sense of judgment. Therefore, we will inform on AAA updates without supporting any voting.

This message is from our fanbase only. It is not issued for other LNGSHOT fanbases. We believe there is already an understanding not to pursue AAA popularity voting. We will not judge anyone who chooses differently.
