From as early as I can remember, people have told me that what I was building wouldn’t work, didn’t exist, or was nearly impossible to achieve alone. Very few believed my predictions about the future, about technology, or about the probable direction of their own lives.

They didn’t listen.

Now, many of those same voices feel empowered by tools like ChatGPT, mistaking access for understanding. There’s something striking about watching people celebrate a “discovery” that has, in various forms, existed for decades. The confidence often outweighs the depth of insight.

But here’s the paradox: without those doubters, I wouldn’t know myself as clearly as I do. Contrast sharpens identity. Intelligence only exists in relation to ignorance; insight only reveals itself against misunderstanding. The duality of life frustrating as it is forces clarity.

If you’re waiting for others to believe in your vision before you act, you’ll be waiting forever. Expectation driven validation is the quiet killer of innovation. The work must stand on its own, long before anyone else understands it.

Many of you have heard that I was involved in a snowboarding accident. This major life change has been a lot to take in, but the support from family, Friends, and the Trading community has really kept me motivated. I can't thank all of you guys enough. The trading community is incredibly strong and it's amazing to see.

Found out this morning that @zander_odom had a terrible accident snowboarding and was paralyzed from the armpits down. It’s extremely sad to hear about a young trader. A few of us just wanted to do what we could to help out and see if the community wanted to do the same.
