The Ijtema will feature inspirational talks, engaging competitions, brotherhood-building activities, and spiritual rejuvenation for Khuddam and Atfal alike.

Can we decorate our homes during Ramadan and Eid etc?

“The Holy Prophet (sa) said:

إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ

“Your every work and deed depends on your intention. What is the intention behind it? If they are decorating their homes during Ramadan to let their children understand the importance of Ramadan, then there’s no harm in it…”

Huzoor e Anwar (aba) further mentioned:

“If it is just to copy that ‘because Christians are doing it, we should also do it’, and you do not tell them about the history of fasting and the importance of fasting and the importance of Eid, then it is wrong.”

Delighted to have Murabbi Shamshad Nasir Sahib visit Fxburg with Sadr Sahib Jama’at & Qaid Majlis. He emphasized offering prayers on time, gratitude to Allah, & electing righteous leaders. Leading Maghrib & Isha at the Salat Center, he left us inspired & spiritually uplifted.

We spent this weekend beautifying our community and our environment by planting 100s trees with @chesapeakebay foundation!

Planting trees help provide food & shelter for wildlife, provide cleaner air & cooler temperatures, sequester carbon, & reduce polluted runoff!

In Islam, neighbors have specific rights that are to be honored. These include being considerate, helping them in times of need, and avoiding actions that might cause them discomfort or harm.

Allhamdullilah, RTP and Richmond Chapters enjoyed the company from @MuslimPresident as he visited them this week.

RTP hosted a session and dinner on Tuesday, and Richmond had a day of #MuslimYouth visits, ending with Salat and brotherhood.

The #RTP delegates and observers at #MKA Shura 2024 in Bait ul Rehman, #Maryland. Whilst the delegates helped discuss proposals, the observers spent the most of their times serving the Jamat by indulging themselves in duties.
