Mr Gadkari here’s the another example for you!! Sad to see a Defender being towed away! Having driven one, I can say these vehicles are extremely sensitive to fuel quality. Ethanol-blended fuel has only made things worse.
Just like EVs suffer from poor charging infrastructure, premium fuel options like Speed and XP100 are almost non-existent in most hilly regions.
Even before E20 fuel, Defenders would sometimes develop misfires and odd engine behavior on regular fuel; now the problem is even more noticeable.
People spending ₹1.5 crore on a vehicle shouldn’t have to worry about whether the next fuel station will leave their car running properly or stranded on a flatbed.
This is the result of poorly planned fuel policies introduced without ensuring proper infrastructure, fuel quality consistency, or real-world testing.
Absolutely disappointing that a premium vehicle ends up being towed because the ecosystem around it isn’t ready! 😌
This post by @TheSincereDude is a Mirror. Since I've lost my respect for local/ regional parties in past decade or so, it's time #CONGRESS starts scrutinizing the relations of their regional leaders at local levels.
I'm from #Himachal and I've seen it pretty closely.
What happened to Pranav Jha in the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha polls today is a structural warning sign that cannot be ignored.
With 56 MLAs, the alliance should have won both seats easily. Instead, JMM, RJD, and Left cross-voted to hand a victory to an NDA-backed independent.
This isn't an isolated incident; it is a repeating national pattern. Regional satraps routinely trade away Congress's organisational sacrifices for localised, transactional deals.
The hard truth is that a national alternative cannot be built on the shifting sands of unreliable state level allies who compromise on core ideological battles the moment it benefits them.
For the long term survival of the movement, the party must focus on building its own organic, independent strength on the ground rather than outsourcing its mandate to compromised partners.
Time to look inward, rebuild the core cadre, and stand on our own feet.

@desimojito My concern with ethanol as fuel option:
Ownership of non-compliant vehicle. (Didn't even get a chance or affordable options to switch)
Inflated cost. (Still costing much and that too with reduced mileage)
Hasty implementation without rolling out spectrum of compliant vehicles.
🚨 Congress leader Supriya Shirnate slams BJP :
Education's budget share fell from 4.7% to 2.5%, while 90000+ government schools reportedly shut down.
Is this Development or the Dismantling of Public Education ? 🤔
