Can you still remember the name of the teacher who changed your life?
When C. S. Vastrad, a teacher at Kumareshwar High School in Hangal, Karnataka, retired, more than 1,000 former students gathered to celebrate the man who had shaped countless futures.
Among them was Naveen Hulihalli.
Years ago, after losing his father, Naveen struggled to continue his education due to financial hardship.
Seeing his situation, Vastrad stepped in and paid his school fees for several years, ensuring he stayed in the classroom and never gave up on his dreams.
At the farewell, Naveen returned that kindness with a surprise that left everyone emotional.
A brand-new car.
Today, Naveen works at an MNC in Bengaluru, but he says much of his success belongs to the teacher who stood by him when he needed support the most.
A beautiful reminder that great teachers don't just teach lessons. They change lives.
What's the name of a teacher you'll never forget?

As a filmmaker, I believe cinema should entertain, inspire, and connect with audiences. It should never make anyone feel uncomfortable or disrespected. We have heard the feedback regarding certain scenes in Peddi and have taken it seriously.
I have always had immense respect for women, both on and off screen, and it was never our intention to objectify or disrespect any female character. If any part of the film has been perceived that way, we respect those sentiments, understand the concerns being raised, and sincerely apologize.
After reviewing the feedback, we have decided to make changes to the concerned portions. Cinema grows through its connection with audiences, and as storytellers, we have a responsibility to be mindful of evolving perspectives and sensitivities.
Every woman deserves to be respected, valued, and represented with dignity. We remain committed to telling stories that celebrate strong characters and uphold those values.
Thank you to everyone who shared their views honestly and sincerely."

Don’t know what was the criteria. Many senior journalists who were & are on the field didn’t get the invitation, didn’t even considered accreditation but who has got recommendations were in list just before the event & who are not there in any organisation also got felicitation💁
The criteria is not clear as even those without accreditation have got it too. Maybe the department should tell us openly how they finalized the names and gave away 25K worth saree gift vouchers to each of the awardees!
@mkalanidhi I&PR accreditation seems to be one of the criteria? Let's work towards filling forms to be noticed!
I think this issue, which Manju Latha is raising, should have been raised by our colleagues who were rightfully invited for the event.
Fabulous story Sahera 👏

What's this rule about temples or many private hotels not allowing singles to take a room? Who made this? What's the idea behind it? Are single people threat to the society or what? Is this really written in the law? Isn't this discriminatory?
