Why have over 50% of tea under acreage in upper part of Meru yet what is sold locally is the lowest of the quality? Ingine yote inaenda kwa mzungu? Alafu the tea you have in your half an acre brings you less than 200K a year.

I can officially call myself a Marathon Runner 🙌🏾

Today’s run was tougher than I had expected. I started on a high note and everything was going well until kilometer 10 when I noticed that my support system was missing in action.
That meant no electrolytes, something that I wasn’t mentally prepared for!

Having covered 30km in 1:55hr, the sub 3 was so close, but unfortunately, today was not the day! Things got really tough after the 30th kilometer, and despite efforts to hold it together, I had to walk from Kilometer 36 to kilometer 40, from where I gathered myself to the finish line!

Many lessons have been learned today… and this has been a fair debut! From here, the only way is up!

The city looks like it's recovering from a civil war. My main issue isn't the grim state itself, but the terrible quality of public works; fresh roads already full of potholes, rampant vandalism by Ngubus etc

I have zero hope this city will ever be properly fixed.
