🪖I was in the same company as Jin. Sergeant Kim Seokjin bought an incredible amount of food for everyone, without making any distinction between his seniors and juniors.
Most soldiers in the military are barely twenty or haven't even entered society yet, but Jin would say that he was much more financially comfortable than they were, and he bought them so much fried chicken, jokbal, pizza, and other food that they could practically get sick of it.
And it wasn't just the soldiers from our barracks. He would take soldiers from the other barracks out every time and treat them to Korean barbecue too.
He was practically called a god within the company.
Whenever Seokjin walked by, the soldiers would all shout,
“Bow down! It's God! Lower your heads!”
and we worship him.

Those three are absolutely essential.
In Nioh, I’m right before the final boss.
I got a little stuck there. I actually reached the final boss while I was spending 10~20 minutes during a layover in the U.S. I managed to connect and get to the final boss, but I only play PlayStation when I’m on tour. So maybe I’ll defeat the final boss on my next tour.

I saw a 10,000-word post written by fashion industry people explaining how shocked they were that Jin arrived in Korea wearing slippers right after performing at the World Cup. They were apparently stunned that a superstar of his level would come back to Korea wearing slippers, and analyzed how his natural, unpretentious appearance became an even bigger talking point, eventually trending in real time.

But we (the fan) know the real stories behind each of these things.
Alo yoga cap: Jin’s head is so small that standard hats from the fashion industry are usually too big for him. It is genuinely difficult to find hats that fit him properly. For a while, he kept wearing BigHit hats, and fans suffered every time they saw them. Fans(me too) begged Gucci over and over to make a cap that would actually fit him, and Gucci eventually made one specifically for him. After Alo gave him a cap that fit perfectly, he wore that one constantly for a long time. It seems that once Jin finds something that fits him perfectly, he really loves it.

Gucci denim jacket and jeans: Journalists were amazed by his double denim look. They published so many headlines saying, "This is something an ordinary person could never pull off. Only Jin can do it!" But we have been seeing this outfit for an entire year. It is the Happy denim jacket Gucci made for him. He wore it at concerts and often wore it to the airport as well. The embroidery Gucci created specifically for him, including the word "Happy", is especially meaningful. It is the name of his first solo album.

Kian's B&B slippers: These have been appearing repeatedly since his recent concerts. Jin originally loved Louis Vuitton slippers. And after returning from the military, he wore military slippers almost exclusively. He was so particular about cleanliness that he would suffer whenever someone else wore his slippers lol. That is how clean and particular he is.
Do you know how much those military slippers cost? 6$(9,900 won). His Louis Vuitton slippers cost $720. B&B slippers were sold at the pop-up store.
Jin is simply the kind of person who chooses whatever feels comfortable to him. And the fact that he chose slippers means that he genuinely liked them and found them comfortable.

But when you look at each item individually, every single one carries a piece of Jin’s achievements.
A cap made by the premium American wellness brand Alo Yoga specifically because Jin has such a small head. And he is the main ambassador, of course. After he became an ambassador, Alo opened a flagship location in Seoul, Korea, representing the entire Asian region.
A concert jacket and pair of jeans made by Gucci to commemorate his first solo album. As soon as Jin was discharged from the military, Gucci sent a huge cake to the company and shouted, We’ve been waiting for you to finish your military service!
And a B&B show in which Jin captivated people all over the world with his charm and remained at number one on Netflix for an entire month without coming down.
We know exactly what all of these things mean.

Jin understands the value of the connections and memories that brought him to where he is now. He holds on to them dearly, carrying them with him until they are worn out.

He is someone who understands the value of the things that helped make him who he is today, rather than simply chasing something expensive or new.

That is why, to us, these are never just a hat, a denim outfit, or a pair of slippers.

They are all pieces of Jin’s journey.

And people in the fashion industry were probably thinking, Jin is definitely going to show up wearing something luxury from a new season. It’s right after the World Cup, so surely he’ll want to show off something new.
But Jin, as always, appeared with that clear, innocent face, carrying the oldest things he treasured the most.
Exactly. He is the person who surprises the fashion industry the most.
