How about pedestrians report at a near-miss/safety alert button on the corners, like the blue emergency pillars around college campuses — or cheaply stuck onto the existing pedestrian crossing boxes (with bike lane access too). Like ikea’s “satisfied?” smiley/frowney buttons.

@PaulWermer @desertflyer @VanessaGregson I share your wish. One big challenge is that “miss indicators” aren’t measured — at least in a consistent and trackable manner — so all SFMTA (and other transportation agencies) has to go off of is crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
