@Covers@ToddCordell@PolymarketSport As much as I love Cam "Go Watch Hockey" Schlittler, my projection model liked Boston at +138 (41.78% chance to win). But now the odds have moved to ~+130 and its basically saying no edge.
Hands off on this one for now.
Average over under in MLB is 8-9. It can go from zero to sixty on any pitch. The potential for an amazing play is always there.
I get that some people who dont understand baseball may think a pitching duel is boring, but things are actually happening and each play affects the next. Unlike soccer, where the ball is cleared constantly and nothing that happens prior has really any affect after.
The average over/under in soccer is 2.5 goals. Literally nothing happens for the majority of the 90+ minutes of most games.
In America, we demand more from our sporting competitions. Which is why the MLS hasn't cracked the top 4 leagues here in 30 years.

any sort of soccer
@bstiz15@Jesse_Leg Average over/under in soccer is 2.5. You are literally watching players move back and forth on a field for 90 minutes for the possibly of maybe a handful of scoring attempts. Yes, its boring.
That's why after 30 years, the MLS is still below the main 4 sports leagues in the US.
