@Jomboy_@trevorplouffe I don't disagree with you on the "long way to go" tho. Same award premise(??), but the Cy gets way more attention and is regarded as a "higher " reward
@chipman88@Jomboy_@trevorplouffe And pitchers can't win the Hank Aaron award. Position players need to stop w/ the "pitchers don't play everyday". They're the most important player on the field that day so yes, they can be the mvp when they pitch like Cam.
@ChrisKirschner Hitters/position players also have the Hank Aaron award that is given to the best hitter in each league, similar to what the Cy Young award is like. These hitters that think pitchers are inferior to them....
@Wisconsin_fam That's the kind of thing right there that wins him multiple managers of the year. The dude just knows how to motivate, and knows what needs to be said in each situation. Whether Lara gets a hit there or not, he's building him up for games in the future. That's how you lead
@HellerSports@Brewers We cannot continue to see him at 3B from here on out. This team is built around defense, and Ortiz is the guy to make those plays at 3B. Hamilton needs to be a pinch runner at this point going forward. He can't make a solid throw, and fielding is questionable.
@HellerSports@Brewers Questions for Harrison - yes. But if Ortiz is playing 3B and not Hamilton, I argue that they win this game. He cost this team 5 runs today because of shoddy defense. Pitchers will struggle, but defense is something you bring every game and when you cost ur team 5 runs.....
@CyrtHogg Joey is doing plenty on offense to help this team. And even if he wasn't, his defense is enough of a reason to have him in there instead of Hamilton. His only usefulness going forward is as a pinch runner. Harrison wasn't great, but errors like Hamilton's are unacceptable
@BrewPack8 This team was built to win with pitching and defense, and while the pitching has struggled lately (mostly due to young guys running out of gas), the defense needs to pick them up. Having Hamilton in the game won't do that. Ortiz makes ALL of those plays and they win this game
@ChiefCub Lol, you continue to get excited about "acting tough", the Brewers will just continue to win divisions and beat you in the playoffs. Fair trade. #thingsthatmatter
@LaurenShehadi@RoFlo@markdero7@_MLBCentral_ Great Showcase game last night. Loved everything about it. At the expense of making Mark, Lauren and Robert work more, any chance we could get more of these?
Wayne Larivee is about to throw the dagger on this division. This thing is almost guaranteed now. Two huge wins after that beat down on Monday. This team is incredible
@HellerSports
@BNightengale 1) Biggest baby in the game
2) Easiest guy to get into his head. It's just a matter of time and he'll start throwing stuff and having 2 year old tantrums
@DarikClevinger@CyrtHogg First of all, no. Secondly, you can't control when you peak, so just enjoy whatever they do whenever they do it. If everyone could control when they peaked, the postseason would be incredible. But, if you don't enjoy the journey, then ur missing a lot of good entertainment
@HellerSports Mike, I know I've mentioned this before, but love the podcasts. I listen to a lot of baseball podcasts, but my favorite discussion of the week is easily when you and @VinnyRottino chop it up. Again, so glad ur back on the air, and glad u brought Vinny with
@BrewPack8 Who cares. Listen to the radio then. Everyone acting like their team isn't getting enough love....stop with the insecurity. Good grief, they won the game and the series. Focus on what matters
