You can take this script and make a bat file like this. Then you can go to the Task Scheduler and click "Create Basic Task" give it a name, set the trigger to, say, every day at 7am, and the action to running this bat file. Now you grab data every morning at 7am.
Posted a small update for xStats. For the moment is is only for batters, but it should better handle running speed and power hitters. At least, that's the goal. This change shouldn't matter as much for pitchers, theoretically, which is why I haven't updated them yet.
@batflipcrazy@Real_J_Eddy He said he thought the pain in his arm was normal, because its all he’s ever known. 2018 was the first time he threw pain free.
@batflipcrazy@Real_J_Eddy IIRC Wheeler hurt his arm in high school, it got repaired in 2017, and 2018 was his first healthy year as a pro. That also means this is his first ever healthy off season. Imagine that, only having to worry about getting better and being prepared, as opposed to rehab.
Just updated the pitcher and batter stat sheets to account for a number of small errors. Hopefully it is now error free. If you have already done so, you probably want to redownload a new copy.
@Byron_D11@realfakewalter@PaulTheMartin@ckurcon@JasonAtTheGame I’m not even going to ask why you think he’ll be in the ALE other than to say fat chance. He pitches up in the zone, that’s his thing. Not many guys hit neck high fastballs into the ground.
@realfakewalter@PaulTheMartin@ckurcon@Byron_D11@JasonAtTheGame With batted balls, he gave up more lowdrive/line drives and pop ups and fewer high drives. That’s not sustainable. He also struck out many more, which could easily be sustainable. You can double his HR rate and still have a cy young calibre season.
