Another fun Friday listening to and learning how to draw The Big Cheese from the illustrator himself 🧀 ! Thanks @Scholastic and @peteoswaldart for a fun afternoon of learning & inspiration 📖 We even got a sneak peek at his next book out in November!!!
We had our first of many fun Friday read aloud a with an author today! This graphic novel had a personal connection to my friends, as the main character learns she has dyslexia and that is why she easily ‘mixed up’ things. Loved getting to interact with @Scholastic today!
We loved taking a ‘virtual’ field trip today and meeting Krista Weltner. She tapped into our creativity as she shared how she got her start as an author/illustrator/filmmaker. Thank you @Learning_Ally for hosting such an amazing opportunity for our learners!

Sometimes Mondays are Mondays and it’s the little things that end up being the big things! #MondaysinMLI edible bubbles for the win and little messages wrapped up with love at the end of the day 💕
Starting our Blessing Bags mission at Genius Hour today <sharing our passions of helping others, brainstorming needs, inventorying items we have, next step needs, setting goals> Next week we will assemble to have on hand in our cars to bless others @CCEColts @coppellisd
Surprising our teachers by sharing why they’re our daymakers and taking time to show our thanks for supporting and encouraging us is one of my favorite things to do during Dyslexia Awareness Month ❤️ @MsStanford2A @coppellisd @CCEColts
October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, dedicated to increasing understanding and support for individuals with dyslexia. More than 40 million US adults have dyslexia, making it crucial to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth#Dyslexia#nuerodivergence
