Now for a look at the Conference Finals, where FC Cincinnati host Columbus Crew and Houston Dynamo travel to LAFC #MLSCupPlayoffs

Not going to get all of my MLS Previews written up before the season starts, so here's a tier list of my initial thoughts.
Will continue to work on the "previews" through the opening weeks of the season, and will update the list once I've done a deeper dive on all of the squads
Philadelphia Union hold the edge over New England Revolution in terms of expected goals created. On defence, it's interesting to note the relatively similar pressing numbers but how extreme the Revolution's shot quality + quantity are, versus the Union's more balanced numbers.
My predictions were 2 for 2 in the Wildcard Round, so let's see how we get on in this #MLSCupPlayoffs Round One preview, where the top 2 seeds in each conference arguably face the tougher matchups.

Time to start up the #MLSCupPlayoffs previews with a quick look at New York Red Bulls, Charlotte FC, Sporting Kansas City and San Jose Earthquakes.

Writing a piece on Adrian Heath's time at Minnesota United, roughly wrapping up with how his sacking comes off the back of one hell of a cold streak in front of goal at home.
First game of the post Heath-era: 5 goals off ~2.5 xG!
Inter's midfield has been a bit of a disaster zone with injuries and poor form, but Miami have at least given minutes to a couple of teenagers in David Ruiz and Benjamin Cremaschi.
What have Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba let themselves in for at Inter Miami?

It's been a while, but here's my MLS mid-season review: A look at how things stand in MLS as the second half of the season gets going.

Looking for a possible reason for such a streak over 12 matches, how about the fact that NYRB have fallen behind in 9 of their 12 matches so far and only spent a combined total of 49 minutes (plus added time) in the lead.
A defence-first side conceding first gets a coach fired!
Every team has now played at least 10 matches in MLS, and guess who has started with the best underlying defence of the last 6 seasons?
Unfortunately, New York Red Bulls have coupled this with an average attack that is heavily underperforming (8 goals from 15.1 xG!)
