Organisms produce lipids that can record aspects of the #climate they live in by forming different molecular structures. Like #forensics of #climate, #scientists study these "LIPID BIOMARKERS" to reconstruct past climates. @pintofscience #Pint20Norwich #Pint20 #PintSizedScience
