I'm the head of the MLS Muppets, the world's largest MLS supporter group comprised entirely of Muppets. Most of us don't have legs, but we still love soccer!
What seems like ages ago, I really enjoyed Twitter and the small part I played in the soccer discourse on this platform. I look back with fondness and appreciation for all of you who took interest in my lame attempts at humor. It really was a lot of fun, but now I must #e𝕏it.
@AlexiLalas Cheers to you all, and I hope life and soccer both keep treating you well. May we all be lucky enough to continue to watch Lionel Messi perform at his best, regardless of whether or not he plays for our team or not.
Go Sounders! #EBFG

@AlexiLalas Unfortunately, billionaires will be billionaires, and I'm not interested in contributing to whatever scheme this particular billionaire has in mind. So this is officially my last tweet. I will leave the account intact for posterity, for now, but may deactivate in the future.
Generous of spirit, a peerless journalist, #grantwahl did more to inform and explain and celebrate the beautiful game than any other American. Ever. Full stop. His loss is incalculable to our profession. Prayers for his family.
NEW: World Cup Daily, Day 25. They just don't care. Qatari World Cup organizers don't even hide their apathy over migrant worker deaths, including the most recent one.

Not sure how much I care if Twitter dies, even though I had lots of fun tweeting as @MLSmuppet.
If I had to choose, I do kinda wish he'd have bought and destroyed Facebook instead tho. #SocialMediaHellscapePreferences
