Higher and AH Mandarin pupils, along with pupils from Dollar and Merchiston, attended the Chinese Immersion Day at Fettes College last week. The day featured workshops, cultural activities and full competitions, including a speaking contest and group challenges 🇨🇳 @Fettes_College

Many thanks to Jared’s beautiful and delicious homemade cookies, S3.3 Mandarin class used them as mooncakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival(the Moon Festival). They learnt the story of the Chang’e and how to make moon cakes. They also learnt an ancient piece of Chinese poem!
Today we said goodbye to our Spanish partners. There were tears&hugs but excitement for February. Thank you to the wonderful families and staff of @iesordonoii for making our pupils feel like part of their family and for organising such a fabulous week ❤️🏴 🇪🇸 ¡hasta febrero!
Another successful day visiting the Cuevas de Valporquero and learning about stalactite formations. Followed by a beautiful walk over the caves to the village of Coladilla which happens to be famous for its frozen yogurt and ice cream 😋 🍦🍨⛰️
