After 11 years as a sports columnist at the Seattle Times, I have decided to resign. It was entirely my choice, and it was not an easy one. The impetus was the Times declining to run a column I wrote from the perspective of two female student athletes who were opposed to competing against biological males. It was one of several pieces of mine that had been spiked, and I no longer felt like I could properly do my job as a columnist. I lay out the situation in greater detail in the link below, but I want to say that I enjoyed my time with the paper, find the talent there to be immense, and have no animosity toward anyone who works there. It was just time for a change.

I think it is ironic that food stamps are being cut off because Congress can't decide how to spend money on Health Care. I would think food and nutrition go hand in hand with So Called Health Care.
Happy weekend, Folks! 🇺🇸
America is a Christian nation. Let’s keep Christ at the center, stand firm in our faith, and walk in love.
God bless America and God bless the world. ✝️🇺🇸
Can I get an AMEN? 🙏
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Every "moderate" statement coming out of Tehran is being clipped, stripped of context, and weaponized by foreign-funded media outlets.
Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi says the full footage tells a completely different story.
"Trump has already betrayed Iran at the negotiating table on multiple occasions."
The negotiations were never real. They were cover for an attack that was already decided.

🇬🇧🇰🇼 A new London bookshop put Mein Kampf on the table 😳
Arabic copies of Hitler’s manifesto, complete with Nazi-salute cover, turned up for sale at Aafaq Bookstore on Edgware Road, minutes from a major synagogue.
A local councillor found them displayed and called it out.
The publisher is linked to the Kuwaiti owner. Jewish groups slammed it as antisemitism hits record highs in Britain.
The shop later pulled the books after the backlash, claiming they weren’t pushed hard.
Apparently the only thing more surprising than finding Hitler’s greatest hits for sale near a synagogue is that anyone still acts shocked when it happens.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 The fee percentage is a distraction. The real price is Gaza.
Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi makes clear that no shipping deal, no negotiation, and no normalization happens until the killing stops.
"The Strait of Hormuz will not be normalized until the genocide in Gaza comes to an end."
Western elites assume everyone is as unprincipled as they are. Iran is betting they're wrong.

President Trump is transforming the White House Rose Garden with statues of America’s founders, adding Thomas Jefferson alongside George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin as part of his broader White House renovations. https://t.co/5PcWzlHKqZ
