@Shannon6knutson That sounds amazing! My school has slowly been adding some outdoor learning spaces and it is wonderful for our middle school students to be outside learning!
Q1: I would love to work in a school that really embraces outdoor learning and uses the school building to create spaces where students can explore, create, and problem-solve collaboratively. #msum644
Q5: I think one of the biggest obstacles is that educators and other important stakeholders are on a vast continuum of understanding in regards to what is best for students and their learning. #msum644
Q4: Kids need to be prepared for real-world life. They need to be able to think for themselves, problem-solve creatively with different applications, and be able to collaborate well with others, whether it is in person or virtually. #msum644
Q3: I think the biggest upgrade that needs to happen with my curriculum is more real-life application. I have been working on providing assessments that allow students to showcase their learning in different ways based on their interests and learning styles. #msum644
Q2: I'm working on arranging the space in my classroom to feel more comfortable and make it easy for students to collaborate with their peers. As I revise our curriculum, I will be thinking of new ways to provide authentic, real-world learning experiences. #msum644
