O’Reilly and Ait-Nouri as our LB options are really special.

NOR is better suited for when the opponents push us deeper & the RW vs. LB duel is more frequent/of more significance than the average game — think bigger games (Arsenal, Pool, certain UCL matchups)

Whereas RAN is more suited for when the opponent sits deeper as he has more tools than NOR in unlocking low blocks — decent amount of PL teams (Brentford, Everton, certain UCL matchups).

And in no means does that mean RAN shouldn’t start in bigger games and NOR shouldn’t start against low blocks: RAN is a really good 1v1 defender and NOR offers a lot of tactical flexibility going forward.

Deciding who should play when is a GOOD headache to have but we’re also very lucky as they both offer different characteristics suited to certain game states.
