The staff at the @YWGairport said it an ongoing issue and problematic that we can’t even call a Duffys cab because they aren’t allowed to pick up yet we can call an Uber. It’s not that there aren’t enough cabs it’s that you restrict the cab company.
@MLobson We’re sorry to hear this impacted your experience. We always monitor the number of taxis at the airport, but at times, there are not enough cabs in the city to meet the demand. We do call in additional taxi companies when we anticipate this, however, they’re not always available.
Completely unacceptable @YWGairport Welcome to #Winnipeg. An hour wait for a taxi at midnight. Had no clue that they only allow cabs from one company. This is wrong on so many levels.

When we talk about #consent it is often centralized around consent in sexual interactions. Though it is also vital to practice consent in other facets of our lives! Practicing consent #everyday is an important way to help move closer to creating #ConsentCulture.
Thanks @SeleneSanFelice from @axios for taking the time to chat about @reescommunity and the work we are doing to create safer campuses, communities and workplaces. https://t.co/BKPl5Sor9j
