My short story, "The Internet of Things That Care," is in the new issue of Shoreline of Infinity @shoreinf - digital and print! It's nice to write, and read, a story where tech is on our side. https://t.co/MvPtfrAZgr
I don't know if I'm supposed to be on Twitter anymore. Maybe not? Ai yi yi. Modern life. So complicated. Anyway here's a watercolor I did yesterday in case it's okay to still be here.
Adam Savage & Mary Robinette Kowal will be reading/chatting at the American Bookbinders Museum in San Francisco tonight, hosted by SF in SF. Doors at 6. SomaFM will be recording the podcast. See you there!
It's cloudy and rainy in the bay area, but you can watch tonight's Total Lunar Eclipse on the Griffith Observatory live stream: https://t.co/TVbCWw6fOI
I rode MUNI (bus) for the first time in years today. Aside from fearing for my health, I was in total bliss. Eavesdropping on two young women behind me talking about how a 23 yo should never date a 21 yo – too young! Backpacks in my face, stinky people – all fodder for fiction.
@borderlands_sf I hear ya. My friends often remark that they don't like science fiction, but they like my stories, because "they aren't really science fiction, they're about people." Well imagine that!! 🤣
