Mortal Kombat Review
This movie reminded me of the goosebumps movie - amateur special effects felt like a PG 13 movie. Most villains bear no resemblance to their game counterparts, fights were poorly done, and the story massively deviates from the lore.(part1)#MortalKombat
@nonregemesse Bron in charge of the reach is the only truly egregious part of this. They didint even bother to justify it by having him mary sam’s sister. Still dumb but at least thats something.
@nicobellic67@VerminusM There were millions of christians in what is now turkey 100 years ago. Now there are virtually none. There were hundreds of thousands of muslims in what is now israel. Today there are millions. You are the one with the medievil mindset.
@Mmanewsnetwork2@realestarmitage@LTGetsPolitical@hudnorth_8 If the script was flipped and universities were churning out right wing converts who had no marketable skills, they would be the first to talk about ROI. They’ll fight tooth and nail to protect their source of useful idiots.
@realestarmitage@LTGetsPolitical@hudnorth_8 Considering that an enormous amount of people in the U.S have crushing amounts of student debt and you legally can’t even declare bankrupcy on it… ya i’m gonna frame it as a yield on investment. On top of that a lot of university programs are postmodern/marxist propaganda.
@LTGetsPolitical@hudnorth_8 You get requests because a gov apparatus exists to fund lefty university bs. If student loans weren’t guaranteed, people actually would have to think about the return on invest of their education and these classes would not exist because there would be no demand for it.
@RomeInTheEast The scenario in which this happens is as follows: Belisarius accepts offer of being made western Roman emperor, waits for Frankish civil war, marries the daughter of the ruler of the side he helps win. Merge realms at some point and take Spain.
@daniel_dsj2110 The only reason why this is wrong is because in theory you can speak english while removing all the borrowed vocabulary, while the same cannot be done with the vocab of germanic origin. But there is so truth to this.
@nonregemesse Book 4 is a lil rough. But King’s landing chapters are great as well as Jamies. Book 5 is actually my favourite, especially the North chapters.
@Hattydovah@mcgillmd921 Claudius’ main contribution was adding britain which never paid for itself and was burden to the state and paving way for Nero. I’d give him a 6 personally.
@RomeInTheEast@Hattydovah Absolutely, but of course you would build these up in a logical order. Start with the things we are confident knowing what it looked like.
