Non casuals know fights are judged round by round and it takes at least 3 to win a title fight, not 2.

@Combat_History Damage is the number one criteria, Val caused the most physical damage in that round by cutting Alexa. The knees were effective but didn't seem to do that much damage, especially considering Val's attempt(and failure) to bend the rules to her advantage after eating the first few.

@Combat_History That one short sequence in a close round wasn't enough to edge it imo. I gave that round to Val due to slicing Alexa open with elbows in the clinch and out striking her through the majority of it. If the knees had dropped Val sure, but they didn't.

@ardyoungin I didn't after Val cut her open but it was a close round, There's no conceivable way to score a 10-8 for any of them though, not a single round was one sided.
