Is the "culture of busy" hurting EM physicians? 🚑🥪 A new @CJEMonline study of 500+ Canadian docs finds:
❌ 35% rarely/never eat on shift.
❌ 36.6% rarely/never drink water.
⚠️ 86.7% say this impacts their clinical performance.
🧠Senior docs are 3% more likely to eat for every year of experience.
The #1 barrier? Lack of time (91%).
We need more than just "resilience", we need a culture shift, protected breaks, and clean spaces to recharge.

Integrity is not a 9-5 job. Character counts in every part of life.
"Jennifer fever": When older men leaders prefer to work w/ and give opportunities to younger women rather than more experienced women their same age. This is harmful to all women. As the younger women grow older, they too will be passed over.@ResaELewissMD
