أدين بشدة الحكم الصادر بحق سعدية معلم علي (سعدية باجاج)، والذي يقوض العدالة واستقلال القضاء وحقوق المواطنين.
يعكس هذا الحكم ضعف الإدارة المنتهية ولايتها بقيادة حسن شيخ محمود، ويُظهر خوفها من أصوات الشباب الصومالي النشط والفاعل.
علاوة على ذلك، كشف هذا الحكم عن صورة سلبية للمؤسسة القضائية، إذ عزز الانطباع بأن المؤسسات القضائية تُستخدم لخدمة المصالح السياسية بدلاً من العمل باستقلالية لترسيخ العدالة وسيادة القانون.
تُعرف سعدية باجاج بكونها شخصية مجتهدة وشجاعة، وما تواجهه اليوم من معاناة نابع من موقفها الجريء في مواجهة ما تعتبره مظالم ارتكبتها إدارة حسن شيخ محمود بحق الشباب الصومالي.
وأضم صوتي إلى الأصوات المطالبة بإعادة حرية سعدية باجاج فورًا ودون أي شروط، والإفراج عنها بشكل عاجل.

I strongly condemn the sentence imposed on Sacdiyo Macalin Cali (Sacdiyo Bajaaj), which undermines justice, judicial independence, and the rights of citizens.
This ruling reflects the weakness of the outgoing administration led by Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud and demonstrates its fear of the voices of active Somali youth.
Furthermore, this verdict has exposed the judiciary by creating the perception that judicial institutions are being used to serve political interests rather than operating independently to uphold justice and the rule of law.
Sacdiyo Bajaaj is a figure known for her hard work and courage. The hardship she is facing stems from her brave stand against what she views as the injustices that the Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud administration has inflicted upon Somali youth.
I join those calling for the immediate and unconditional restoration of Sacdiyo Bajaaj’s freedom and release.
