Imam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
"Staying silent without recitation (of the Quran), nor dhikr, nor du'a, is not worship, nor is it ordered for, rather it opens the door for the whispering of the shaytan.
Therefore, keeping busy with Dhikr (mentioning Allah) is better than remaining silent."
[al-Fataawa al-Kubra, 2/298]
one year from now you could be someone who:
• never misses fajr
• gives sadaqah weekly
• has read the entire Quran twice
• handles stress through sujood not scrolling
• radiates peace without effort
but only if you start today
not tomorrow. TODAY habibi
Ya Allah, grant us steadfastness in doing good and turning away from what displeases You. Make obedience easy and beloved to our hearts, and make disobedience heavy upon us. Let this #Ramadan bring lasting, consistent change within us.
Ameen.

More than a dozen Israeli soldiers spoke to ITV for their new documentary Breaking Ranks: Inside Israel’s War, about how their army’s two-year campaign in Gaza involved shooting unarmed Palestinians en masse, using teenagers as human shields, and flattening entire neighborhoods without pretext of any threat.
One soldier recalls a man on a roof hanging his washing. A tank brigade 700 meters away decided to label him a “spotter” with no evidence of threat, and blew up half the residential tower, killing and injuring many civilians.
Another remembers two teenage boys quietly pushing a cart, and Israeli soldiers deciding to shoot one in the head, adding: “If they walk too fast, they’re suspicious. If they walk too slow, they’re suspicious. They’re plotting something… If you want to, you can always find a reason to incriminate someone. If I wanted to, I could incriminate the entire Strip.”
“Eli,” another soldier, said his commander reported their unit killed 112 “terrorists” at the end of their deployment— before admitting only one was even suspected of being armed.
Soldiers said they were ordered to “ignore international law” and told to “take revenge on them all.”
An Israeli prisoner in Gaza
Alexander Turbanov, gave a surprising statement from occupied Israel upon his return:
“Your kindness will forever be etched on my soul.
I spent 498 days among you.
Despite the oppression and aggression you endured,
I learned from you the true meaning of manhood, pure bravery, humanity, and respect for values.
Even in captivity, you were free,
while I, being free, was a prisoner.
You protected my life.
Like a father treats his sons with love,
you cared for my dignity, health, and honor.
Though I was in the hands of people fighting for their land and stolen freedom,
and while my government was committing the worst genocide against a besieged nation,
you neither starved me nor humiliated me.
I saw the real meaning of manhood in your eyes.
I understood the value of sacrifice by living among you.
I saw you smiling even in the face of death,
against an enemy armed with weapons of mass destruction,
while you had nothing but your own bodies.
Even if I tried, I couldn’t find the words
to truly express your worth and status,
or to reflect my astonishment and admiration for your noble character.
Does your faith really teach you to treat prisoners this way?
How great is that belief
that raises you to such a level
where all man-made laws of human rights fall apart,
and all protocols of war pale in comparison to your example.
Even in the harshest of times, your justice and mercy stood out —
not just as slogans,
but in your actual behavior.
You never compromised on your principles,
no matter how dark the circumstances were.
Believe me, if I ever return,
I will live among you as a dedicated student,
because I have learned the truth from your people.
I have realized that you are not just the owners of the land,
but the owners of principles and justice.”
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said, these four things draw and attract sustenance:
1. Tahajjud
2. Abundant istighfār before Fajr
3. Consistent charity
4. Dhikr in the morning and evening.
And these four prevent rizq (sustenance):
1. Sleeping in the morning
2. Laziness

@adidasMENA I recently purchased a pair of shoes from your Outlet Mall Dubai store. I wore it once, I went back to exchange them due to issues with the product. Since that branch didn’t have many options, I was advised to visit another Adidas outlet store for the exchange. 1/2

If you are not waking up at night to pray for what you want, then you don't really want it...
Ya Allah, grant us guidance and strength to sleep early and rise in the last part of the night to pray. Strengthen our connection with You and help us improve our Salah
