Due to the severity and timing of tomorrow's forecast, all @FCPS1News schools will dismiss early on Monday March 16th. Middle & High Schools will dismiss at 1130. Elementary & Marshall Middle will dismiss at 1230. After school activities are canceled.

2025-2026 teacher of the year for Margaret M. Pierce Elementary School-FCPS1 : Miss Meg Ryan, 2nd grade teacher. She started @ MMP 2011-2012 as an instructional assistant and became a 2nd grade teacher in 2013-2014! Congratulations!
Chorus spent quality time with their director, Mrs. Hammer, decorating cookies today, following a commendable performance last evening. Despite the chorus festival's cancellation, Mrs. Hammer ensured the students had a memorable experience, to conclude their time together.
