@TheWoodturners Wonder if you had some kind of a guide on the jig, like a pen mandrel bushing. It would save the jig wearing, (for my turning anyway! )

You would think that ply would be easy to engrave, far from it! Lot of test pieces to get settings dialled in. Even then, the wood is very inconsistant😕
