Can we talk address "the public's" mistrust of street vendors who sell food products?
-it has occured to me that a lot of people view their (vendors/hawkers) food as generally being "unhygienic, by how it's presented/handled. Fair enough!

Maybe it’s time to see if it’s possible to convert to a remote job and move back ko Rundu. Windhoek is not it. 😅

JUST IN: The Electricity Control Board chief executive officer, Robert Kahimise, has announced a bulk tariff increase of 3,7% effective from 1 August 2026.
He said that thanks to N$90 million from the National Energy Fund (N$40 million) and the Long-term Marginal Cost Fund (N$50 million), the increase was not 4,8% as approved by the ECB. Nampower had asked for an 8,4% increase.

What's the point in even watching the World Cup anymore?
In 20 years it'll just be France's Africans playing against Spain's Africans to play Italy's Africans in the final.

Of all human qualities, intelligence is relatively common. Much rarer are the character traits that make intelligence useful: curiosity, humility, and agency.
One of the fastest ways to derail a corporate career is taking your boss literally. Polite management culture has turned absolute directives into "casual suggestions."

Ahts. That time the shuttle providers have already secured funding (equity and debt) for new fleets, working capital etc…premised on the exclusive access to one of Namibia’s top tourist attractions…😅
For context, if you didn’t understand what they wanted to implement;
Imagine touring as a Namibian, but you can’t drive your cruiser to Deadvlei parkings, instead you leave it parked somewhere and pay (high rates) an ugly shuttle to take you to Deadvlei. But you have already fuelled up your car or rented a 4x4 car to go to Sossusvlei.
Probably will even have limited time since they have to take you back to your vehicle, and bring other clients lined up at the 2x4 parking area.
Today a lady was chased out of a cab by those B1 drivers that drives to okahandja simply cause she told the guy he was going too fast and she felt unsafe, round about 10 kilometers after the road block in the middle of nowhere, I proudly got out with her😂
