Judge Indira Talwani keeps hammering mail-in ballot rules like elections are her personal project. Americans are supposed to trust the judiciary. Instead we get partisan lawfare dressed up as "orders."

If judges can rewrite voting rules on a schedule, elections stop being elections. They become managed outcomes.

For all the ignorant folks that claim the parties switched.....NO they didn't. What did happen was Republicans started moving to the South because slavery was no longer legal there and over decades there became a large Republican presence in the south & southern states politics.

History gets uncomfortable when the receipts come out.

The first Klan rose during Reconstruction as a white-supremacist force terrorizing Black citizens and Republicans, while Democratic victories across the South helped restore white rule. In 1923, the Women of the KKK formed and quickly grew to roughly 250,000 members.

So spare me the sanctimonious fairy tale that racism has always been a Republican story. America’s history includes a segregationist Democratic South, an anti-slavery Republican founding, and a major party realignment.

Tell the whole damn history or stop pretending it began yesterday.
