Solution for Iran: neither war nor appeasement. Change won’t come through war or talks, but by the Iranian people and organized resistance. Supporting a democratic alternative is key to freedom, peace, and democracy in Iran.
Trafalgar Square today remembering the brave campaigners for a new democratic, secular and free Iran. Their sacrifice will not be in vain, and the campaign will continue. Change will come only from within the country and our Govt must be unequivocal in support. #FreeIran#NCRI
Today, Thursday, at a hearing of the #HumanRights Commission of the Italian Senate, I expounded on the critical human rights situation in Iran and reminded the responsibility of European countries, including Italy, in this regard.
Senators strongly condemned the regime’s arbitrary executions, particularly the execution of political prisoners, and expressed their support for the Iranian Resistance and its Ten-Point Plan.
This is a fundamental principle:
The Iranian regime will never abandon its nuclear bomb-making, war, and terrorism and it will never stop its arrests, executions, and continuous violations of human rights. However, it will not survive in the face of the uprisings and the organized resistance.
Today, at one of the most critical junctures in Iran’s history, the decisive question is: What is the solution to the crisis? How can—and how must—this regime be brought down?
In a horrific crime this morning, the clerical regime publicly executed two defiant protesters, Amir-Hossein Safari and Abolfazl Sepahi, in Isfahan, Iran.
By carrying out these medieval public hangings and relentlessly executing Iran’s youth, this religious dictatorship desperately hopes to stem the tide of rising public anger. However, these atrocities only harden the resolve of Iran's rebellious youth to overthrow this bloody regime.
Once again, I urge the United Nations, human rights organizations, the EU, and member states to forcefully condemn this atrocity. Immediate, effective action is required to halt the regime’s killing machine and save political prisoners on death row, especially 8 other young men facing imminent execution in Isfahan.
International silence and inaction are seen by Tehran as a green light to escalate its killings. The regime's record of atrocities must be referred to the UN Security Council, and its leaders brought to justice for crimes against humanity.
Italian Parliament: The Iranian Crisis and a Democratic Solution for the Future
Today, Thursday, views were exchanged during sessions at the Italian Senate and Parliament on the latest developments in Iran.
A conference in the Regina Hall of the Italian Parliament was presided over by Mr. Fabio Rampelli, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, and featured speeches by lawmakers from both houses, as well as addresses by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Patrick Kennedy.
In the session of Parliament, a statement signed by a majority of members from both chambers of the Italian Parliament was presented. In the statement, the majority of members declare their support for the provisional government announced by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) tasked with transferring sovereignty to the Iranian people and establishing a democratic republic based on the Resistance's Ten-Point Plan.

"Reza Pahlavi hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of succeeding."
In his exclusive interview with @en_simayazadi, former UK House of Commons Speaker John Bercow dismissed Reza Pahlavi as a credible alternative to the dictatorship in Tehran.
"If Pahlavi is proud of everything his family has done, including everything his [dictator] father did... he cannot put himself forward as a potential leader of his country. Or if he does, he hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of succeeding."
Over the past four decades in Iran, the Western dominant policy was the attempt to change the regime’s behavior.
However, this produced the exact opposite results, as it ultimately paved the way for war.
Now, a question of paramount importance has emerged: what is the truly correct and principled policy?

Europe will regain its credibility in the Middle East only when it plays an effective and active role at the very epicenter of the region’s crisis, namely, in Iran.
And this is nothing other than recognizing the will of the Iranian people to overthrow the regime and establish a democratic republic.

On behalf of the Anglo-Iranian community, families of the political prisoners and the martyrs, and all Iranian people, we dedicate these flowers to say "thank you" to @BobBlackman for his vital role in blacklisting the #IRGCterrorists in the UK! 🙏🏻💐
🚨Iran's regime executed Mehdi Khanaki, 26, a law graduate, in Karaj over ties to the January uprising and PMOI membership.
The West must condition any ties with the regime on stopping executions. This is the minimum democratic principle & standard.

🚨 Iran: 1,500 Death Row Prisoners Enter Tenth Day of Hunger Strike
The hunger strike and sit-in by 1,500 death-row prisoners in Unit 2 of Ghezel Hesar Prison entered its tenth day on July 21. Several prisoners have now sewn their lips shut and launched a dry hunger strike, while reports indicate some are in critical condition due to dangerously low blood pressure.
The prisoners also warned that six cellmates transferred to solitary confinement face imminent execution, urging the public: "In this critical situation, it is no time for silence... be the echo of our voice."
Address to the Conference: “Iran Beyond War, the Power of the People as the Solution”
The prospect of change in Iran is grounded in objective, undeniable realities. These include:
- An unprecedented socioeconomic chasm between the social classes.
- Chronic poverty alongside deep-seated economic, social, and environmental crises for which the regime has no viable solutions.
- The collapse of the strategic pillars that have guaranteed the regime’s survival for decades.
- Intensifying internal fractures over the very survival of the state.
- And ultimately, the existence of an organized, nationwide resistance dedicated to the regime's overthrow.
All of these indicators demonstrate that the only viable solution is a path that guarantees the overthrow of this regime, and the only path to that overthrow lies in the organized resistance and uprisings of the Iranian people.
Address to the Conference: “Iran Beyond War, the Power of the People as the Solution”
What is the Solution to the Iranian Crisis?
Without a doubt, the solution lies neither in clinging to the present status quo by preserving this regime, nor in retreating to the past by reviving the deposed dictatorship of the Shah. The true solution lies in looking forward to the establishment of a democratic republic.
Both the current and former regimes foundered on a historical and political dead-end, making their continuation fundamentally impossible.

An honor to speak in front of this distinguished group. There is an alternative to the current evil regime of Mullahs and IRGC. @Maryam_Rajavi offers a framework for a democratic republic. She is poised to offer an interim government and hold a free and fair election in six months.
