Hey you! Yeah you, with the well run successful medical practice. You don’t need to sell to private equity! If you do…
Your staff will look for other jobs.
You and your senior partners (financial beneficiaries of PE transaction) will lose motivation forcing younger partners/associates to pick up the slack
Your younger partners/associates will resent you, but won’t be able to say anything due to power dynamics and fear of retribution from PE overlords
You’ll lose your recruiting edge
You will not practice medicine the way you want, you will practice medicine the way private equity wants
Patients will say things like “why is everybody so grumpy here?” and “what happened to this place?”
Instead, keep your practice, you’re doing great!
@pankisseskafka My 5yo goes to 5 ish a year, maybe gets invited to 6-7. We try very hard to go to each one. But we’ve noticed more and more families are opting out of having a party altogether, maybe just having a “family” party or taking their kid on a trip somewhere.
It’s one thing to know pickpocketing happens….it’s another to see w/ a birds eye view how it actually goes down.
Wowww. The coordination and acting of it all
Vanderburgh County sheriff's deputies were among the lowest paid law enforcement officers in the region.
Working together, myself and the Vanderburgh County Commissioners negotiated a new agreement that will increase deputies’ pay by 33% over the next four years.
