This week we have been thinking about the best properties for a tent. Some of these properties include: strength, water resistant, flexibility and privacy. We then made model tents and tested them against the properties. @morley_newlands #mnascience

Today we have been investigating whether all our body parts grow as we get older. We have carried out an investigation to see if older children have larger head circumferences. We discovered that all children have similar sized head circumferences.@morley_newlands

Today we have explored different sketching techniques and have used different media’s to sketch our animal sculpture designs. It has been great to see the children taking risks and feeling okay when their first design doesn’t go quite right. We always give it another go!

For British Science week we have been exploring what lives in a habitat. We have made sketches of what we have found and kept a tally so we can compare this data when we look again in the summer. @morley_newlands #mnascienceweek25

@morley_newlands In maths we have been learning about height and length. The children started off my measuring themselves against each other and seeing who the tallest and the shortest were in the class and putting everyone in order.
