Data privacy in India is a joke. Every third person knows exactly when my car insurance is due for renewal and has my phone number. Each year, I get 100s of messages and calls from different companies selling car insurance. (Yes, DND, etc is done!).
Anyone else face this?
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?????
Don’t we deserve to know exactly what kind of petrol we’re putting in our cars?
If consumers are paying for it, why shouldn’t we be told what’s actually being sold to us?
Incompetency and corruption are normalised in the system such that if a officer starts doing his work, he will be questioned, his intentions will be doubted. He must explain why he is doing his job for which he is selected at first place.
I have been living in Delhi NCR for more than 20 years.
In the mid-2000s, we used to see Kanwariyas walking on the roads of Delhi. They walked quietly on the side of the road and did not disturb anyone. At most, there were separate walking areas for them, with volunteers guiding them.
There were no loud DJs, no mini-trucks with people waving baseball bats, no fancy lights, no running on the roads, no highways reserved for Kanwariyas, and no flower showers from helicopters.
Back in my hometown, Bareilly, I had never even heard of this during my childhood. These things simply did not exist.
Cut to 2026. Now, Kanwariyas seem to get the highest priority on the roads of North India during these 15 days of Sawan. An office-goer paying taxes or a patient in an ambulance fighting for their life does not seem to get the same importance.
You have to change your travel plans. Schools are shut, offices ask people to work from home, and businesses lose customers. All this happens to accommodate people on the roads for these 15 days.
They seem to feel like the kings of the roads. They can argue with police officers, damage cars, and do whatever they want.
Unless ordinary people who suffer because of this government-supported event every year start raising their voices, nothing is going to change.
Just because an Aerobridge appears to be free, it does not mean that it is available. Just as , just because someone works in a news channel, does not mean that he/she is a journalist
Again, no aerobridge for @airindia flight AI1846 today.
Seems airport authorities have stopped providing aerobridge facilities to Air India flights. What’s even more baffling is that an unused aerobridge was right next to our aircraft, with several others also vacant.
Till when @OnePlus_IN will keep fooling customers? Oneplus 15T launched in China in March 26 but still not launched in India! This tells you something. https://t.co/urbYPLILtz
I worked in payments and let me tell you this secret. The charge for a card swipe is around 2%.
Mastercard/ Visa takes like 0.1%. The bank who gave you the card gets 1.5 to 1.8%
The greatest trick the banks pulled off is to spread the idea that Master/ Visa takes it all :)
People say there's no difference between the previous governments and the BJP - that they're all the same.
I disagree. That's simply not true.
Under the BJP, people haven't just lost faith in the government - they've lost faith in the institutions meant to protect democracy.
> People have lost faith in the judiciary.
> People have lost faith in the media.
> People have lost faith in the ED.
> People have lost faith in the CBI.
> People have lost faith in the Election Commission.
Whatever one thinks of previous governments, these institutions still retained a significant degree of public trust. Today, millions believe they have been compromised
That's the major difference.
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

CMRL Issues Mandatory Advisory on Metro Etiquette; Violators to Face Fines for Noise Disturbance
CMRL requests passengers to observe Metro etiquettes and show consideration for their fellow passengers.
As per Section 59 of the Metro Railways (Operations and Maintenance) Act2002, any act that causes nuisance or discomfort to fellow passengers or interfering with the comfort of passenger is a punishable offence. This includes, but is not limited to, using mobile phones in a manner that creates excessive noise, such as loud conversations, playing music/videos without headphones, or use of speaker mode in metro trains and premises.
Following a recent amendment via the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026—as detailed in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) Gazette notification dated 19.06.2026—the penalty under Section 59 for creating a nuisance (such as listening to music without a headset) has been increased from the earlier fine of Rs. 500/- to a fine of up to Rs. 2,500/-, alongside potential removal from the metro premises by authorized officials.
Hence, CMRL Request all passengers to Use headphones; avoid speaker mode and loud conversations in metro premises to respect fellow commuters’ comfort.
Dear @nitin_gadkari ji, if we can read the fast tag through Satellite, why can’t we locate such Bastards and arrest them immediately?
They are reckless killers roaming free in India. @PMOIndia
