Since this is getting a lot of attention. I don’t have anything to promote, here are some other ways you can help if you would like 1.RAICES (https://t.co/9XDE1uobgw) provides counseling services and legal representation to immigrant families and refugees in Central and S. Texas.
Why we #Strike: because a nurse had her leg broken by a violent patient at a
@MHealthFairview hospital this summer. @mnnurses is asking for more security and @jameshereford
says no. We get harmed protecting YOU. Tell @jameshereford how you feel about that
@11yankees20@IlhanMN@mnnurses This is just untrue. Neither I or any nurses I know got bonuses. And IF we had, why would you begrudge us that? How many people did you watch die during the pandemic? My CEO gave himself a 90% raise, but sure, come after the nurses🙄
Today, we announced our intent to strike. In response, hospital executives have made a desperate attempt to further attack the collective bargaining rights of Minnesota nurses, demanding an additional step that hasn't been previously requested or required. https://t.co/jb9XK344KG
Because of people who have decided to "live with" #Covid I can't safely do anything anymore and my husband is on day 9 without a day off from work because #healthcare is collapsing under the weight of unfettered pandemics.
This isn't sustainable.
#CovidIsNotOver
Healthcare providers have put their lives on the line to keep us safe during the pandemic. MN nurses are overworked and hospitals are understaffed. To the nurses who are negotiating for a better contract, I’m with you—we all are. #PatientsBeforeProfits
As a Minnesotan & Type 1 diabetic who has had my life saved by the dedicated and caring nurses of this state, I stand in solidarity with our @mnnurses ! 🪧✊🏽🏥⛑
I stand in solidarity with the nurses of @mnnurses! Nurses have been on the frontlines during the pandemic and deserve fair wages, supportive work environments, and safe working conditions. Patients deserve nurses who are valued and treated with respect. https://t.co/fTKP6dopy5
We deserve the right to be able to vote freely from the privacy of our homes so conditions in the fields can change. Many are scared & afraid to lose our jobs, so we don’t speak up. We want change. We want to be heard. @CAgovernor: Say yes to #AB2183
