Kid is the textbook example of what hard work and consistency can do for you…
When I first started working with Milo in the fall he was a crafty lefty 74-77. Fast forward to today and the fastball is 83-85 T86, with great stuff southpaw stuff.
Just the beginning 📈
Cant say enough good things about @alex_russell26, tremendously hard work that Ive had the pleasure of coaching since 12u. This fall he posted 15 IP | 14 H | 6 BB | 16 SO | 63 % strikes
Looking forward to him making his college decision soon!
Eating and sleeping… easily the lowest hanging fruits for any high school pitcher looking to throw fuzz.
For reference I don’t know this kid, but game respects game.
Eat like this kid, train hard and smart, and get 8 hours. I bet good things happen🤷♂️
I get a lot of questions about how I went from 151 to 185 in 4 months. The answer’s pretty simple. Consistent workouts, smart nutrition, and recovery.
This week’s meal prep: chicken meal and beef bowls. Stay consistent, stay fueled.

Cam Schlittler velo progression
2022: Sits at 90-91, maxes out at 93
2023: Sits at 90 mph, maxes out at 92.
2024: Sits at 93.5 mph, maxes out at 97
2025: Sits at 98 mph, maxes out at 101
Goes from being an org arm to being the star of a postseason game.
Throwing hard matters.
Just wrapped up my first week as a throwing coach @velouniversity. While it has only been a week, I thought I would share some of my biggest takeaways:
🧵p1
• Elite atmospheres bring out the best in us all
You can’t fake intensity. Being surrounded by people who are hungry, dialed-in, and committed to greatness changes you. It challenges your standards. You think more critically. You coach more intentionally.

Alex came to me 4 months ago, velo plummeting, shut down from throwing, and dealing with the same nagging pains…
So far this summer he is healthy, confident, and throwing harder than ever before! Truly a testament to the power of hard work! Much more to come from this dude📈⚡️
With my doctor’s approval, I was grateful to get one last time in the box this past weekend. Yesterday, I had a successful surgery for a partial UCL tear with an internal brace. The road to recovery starts now. @RBI_VA@OHSCougarsBSB@CoachLacy_NOVA@NextLVLSouth
Many upper-half drills are actually lower-half drills if done correctly.
It's about finding the back hip and using the ground to send rotation up the chain into the arm in constrained positions.
Challenging intensity in something like a 10-toes will expose the arm-isolaters (they'll be stuck in the 70's) until they begin to load/unload from the ground.
It's not about hitting a velo number on a drill, it's about learning or remembering how to move efficiently. Constraints are just a tool.
Could not be more proud of all these guys and the many more here at Replay. To get such significant results from these guys in a month and a half has been a testament to their work ethic and the power of a great throwing program!
