Meet Olayinka Fadahunsi, our Program Coordinator on the MN PROMISE Act team at NDC.

She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a degree in Global Business Leadership and Communication and has been part of the team for the past two years.

Olayinka is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs. Growing up, she worked alongside entrepreneurs in her family and small business owners internationally during her undergraduate internships. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the day-to-day challenges entrepreneurs face and inspired her commitment to helping small business owners access the resources they need to succeed. Through her work at NDC, she is proud to support entrepreneurs in the communities that shaped her by helping connect them to critical funding opportunities.

In her role, Olayinka works closely with the outreach team to develop outreach materials, manage community partner relations, and support post-award relationships.

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, José Ángel brings more than 35 years of experience in banking, leadership, customer service, sales, coaching, and business development.

José Ángel is excited and honored to help small business owners grow and succeed by promoting the Minnesota PROMISE Act Grant, connecting entrepreneurs with this important funding opportunity, and supporting and guiding them throughout the application process.

His life philosophy is: “Enjoy every moment of your life while you can.”

Meet Tina Pfau Gonzales, an Outreach Coordinator with the Minnesota PROMISE Act.

Tina brings more than 30 years of experience in community engagement, nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, fundraising, and partnership building.

She has worked with nonprofits, social enterprises, community organizations, and immigrant-owned businesses to strengthen programs and connect people with resources. Tina is also a fluent Spanish speaker with a strong multicultural background.

In her new role, she will help expand awareness of the PROMISE Act and connect small business owners with available support.
