@AzCDL1@PamelaHensley22 Wrong! Any recess longer than 3 days requires the passing of a concurrent resolution by both Houses, and assuming a the majority of the Senators don’t wish to go into recess, such a concurrent resolution will fail and thus no recess or recess appointments.
@PamelaHensley22 The problem is that Vance is at least a bit smarter than MAGA idiots like you, and I am sure he knows the difference between a Senate Majority Leader and the Presiding Officer so he knows silly fantasies like this are impossible.
@EricawithaC13@laralogan@Charlyangelll Why hasn’t it been done months ago? Because unlike Lara and so many people here on X, Vance, Trump (and no doubt all their advisors) understand the difference between a Majority Leader and the Presiding Officer, and they realize the powerlessness of the VP as presiding officer.
@VinnysCorner1 Jim Crocicchia - New York @Giants
Started 1 game during the 1987 strike, got benched at halftime and then cut the next day! He’s so obscure I can’t even find a pic of him as a Giant (I could only find a pic of him playing Arena Football).
@MelAaronGibson1 Hey MAGA idiots! There’s nothing “breaking” or “just confirmed” here. Did any of you people responding to this post notice where Thune says “we are right now in the middle of a government shutdown”? This interview occurred on February 25th. That’s over 3 months ago! 🙄

@NHarding97@9mmsmg Honest question: What on earth do you think he would gain from that?
He sure as hell won’t get the Republican nomination for Senator in 2028.
