About time someone stood up for these workers, this abuse is widespread and normalised.

Go to Markhams, Mr Price, H&M, Pep etc., cashiers are mopping floors before closing.

Go to Steers, Spur, Nando’s, KFC etc., cashiers are equally mopping the floors. People are hired as cashiers or chefs, yet end up doing cleaning andat times gardening work.

Yes, that guy may have handled it the wrong way, but sometimes the “wrong” way exposes a truth that polite silence never fixes. This is exploitation disguised as cost-cutting.

Who regulates this? Where is the oversight? The Minister of Labour must intervene @1Khosi_Meth @deptoflabour . This cannot continue unchecked!!!

Companies must hire cleaners and stop abusing workers. People burn out. By the time you greet them, they seem “rude” or “have an attitude”,but in reality, they are exhausted, overworked, and taken advantage of by managers and owners who know exactly what they’re doing.

This is not dignity in work. It’s exploitation. And it must stop asap please🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
