@Bhekisisa_MG Again, passing such policies is very undermining to the indigenous practices, something these marginalised healers have been fighting against. Mutual respect and a good approach is always a way forward
@Bhekisisa_MG I mean, who comes up and give people such a short notice without proper engagements and deliberations and then promise to strip them of their vocation?
@Bhekisisa_MG Also, the model is very Eurocentric I agree. Whose standards are they using to mobilise these healers really.
And the framing that by 2025 unregistered healers will not practice is very dictatorial. It’s giving the 1957 Witchcraft suppression Act undertones.
@Bhekisisa_MG This is a step towards holding the indigenous healers accountable and opening the vocation up for growth. However, the money paid for registration will be a big issue that won’t see this happen. It will further marginalise the already sidelined healers.
What the ef is happening with @Fly_Airlink
Mthatha flights na? What annoys me is that these people let you board, sit and waste your time!!!!
No maan you can continue to treat people like this. What the hell is happening?
@Fly_Airlink But why not communicate early because I asked while I was dropping my bag and each person acted all lost. Just fix the issue and stop wasting our time
Happy Africa Day 🌍
It was 25 May 1963 when African countries came together to form what was called Africa Day, an annual commemoration of what was called the African Union (AU).
Her Excellency, Ambassador @vuyiswatulelo thanks for the invitation 🌍🤎
