Peace Week: Day 3
The Minister of Interior of South West State, H.E. Abdullahi Haji Hassan Manur, today officially launched in Baidoa the training and establishment of the Joint Local Council and the Legislative Committee for cooperation between Local Governments and the South West State Parliament.

As part of its commitment to strengthening local governance, particularly in the areas of revenue mobilization and public awareness, the Ministry of Interior of the Southwest State (DKGS) has officially launched the construction of a new Revenue and Public Awareness Multipurpose Hall in Baidoa District.
The groundbreaking ceremony was presided over today by the Deputy Minister of Interior, H.E. Abdifatah Wasiir, alongside the Mayor of Baidoa and District Commissioner, H.E. Abdullahi Ali Watiin. The event marked a significant step forward in enhancing the operational capacity of local government departments.
