Florida lawmakers passed congressional maps that undermine fair representation and silence communities, and today’s Supreme Court ruling further weakens the Voting Rights Act.
Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines it’s time to organize, mobilize, and defend our democracy.
I’m honored to be named a 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. Gun violence is an epidemic, we need real action, not just thoughts and prayers.
I’ve stood with families who’ve lost loved ones they want meaningful policy that prevents violence, and protects our communities
North Florida isn’t just where we enjoy nature,it’s how we live.
In District 21, that means protecting our water, prioritizing conservation, and making sure GRU works for the people.
Lower costs. Smarter solutions. A sustainable future.
Happy #EarthDay 🌎
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit the “Good Life Community,” the City of Alachua, to witness the swearing-in of its newest City Commissioner, Jackson Youmas.
Congratulations, Commissioner Youmas. I look forward to all you will accomplish in service to this great city.
April 20 is more than a date. It’s about fairness, freedom, and smart policy.
I support legalizing marijuana, investing in our communities, and righting past wrongs.
It’s time for change. It’s time for Moore.
I spent today with the Female Protective Society as they closed their 45th semi-annual session, an uplifting experience that inspires you to keep pushing forward.
Since 1903, they’ve been pillars of service in our community. Grateful for their work and impact.
7 months ago, we launched this campaign with one promise: Moore for Florida, Moore for Us.
Since then, we’ve been in your neighborhoods, churches, & communities listening, learning, and building solutions together.
Thank you for your trust and support. We’re just getting started
This past Sunday, I joined fellow Democrats and supporters for an “Evening in Blue.” We celebrated wins across the state and refocused on the work ahead. Let’s stay organized, mobilized, and ready for the upcoming elections.

Honored to witness history tonight in the town of Reddick. Dr. Myra Sherman was sworn in as the town’s first woman Mayor and first African-American elected Mayor.
Congratulations, Mayor Sherman, and to Councilwomen Youmans and Stokes on their re-election.
This morning the churches of Hawthorne came together for a community Sunrise Service to celebrate Easter. Honored to join them as we sang, prayed, and worshiped people from different backgrounds and denominations united on this sacred day. Happy Easter to all.
What a blessing to fellowship with the Female Protective Society tonight during their “Seven Last Sayings” service. Dynamic members of the clergy from across our community delivered powerful and inspiring messages as we gathered to commemorate Good Friday.
This morning I attended the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast. As we remembered Dr. King, Bishop Stokes reminded us not to let anyone kill the dream. Congrats to Rev. Rawls (Drum Major for Justice Faith Award) and Noah Brock (Joel Buchanan Scholarship).
We’re up against our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline at midnight tonight, and every dollar counts.
Help us keep this momentum going, please consider chipping in before the deadline.Thank you for being part of this movement.

What a blessing it was to join the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Association for worship and fellowship today. Rev. Richardson delivered an inspiring message, reminding us that we are still needed. Thank you, Moderator Taylor, for your leadership and kindness.
Today was a day of fellowship in District 21. Grateful to worship at my home church in Gainesville and share our people-powered campaign. Later joined Friends & Family Day in Reddick, powerful message from Pastor Thorpe on running the race well. Blessed to call D21 home.
After a full day of events across the district, I stopped by Big Man’s Cafe, a locally owned restaurant right here in the district for lunch. Great soul food, excellent service, and a true local gem. If you haven’t checked them out yet, make sure you do!
