As a tradition in the Senate,I joined colleague Senators in welcoming Lenana High School students who visited the Senate of Kenya. In my brief address,I encouraged them to be fervent and persistent as they pursue their dreams.Equally,I asked them to trust in the power of education as it serves as an equaliser for everyone.

Gutted to hear the news of the demise of Banisa Constituency Member of Parliament Hon.Kulow Maalim Hassan. A very humble legislator. I knew Hon. Kulow during my days at the Offices of the Deputy President (2018-2022)when he would follow closely matters related to TVET for his constituents, later we reconnected in the current Parliament. The lessons and example he set with our constant interactions leaves an indelible mark in my heart. Heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives,friends and the people of Banisa Constituency.May His soul rest in eternal peace.

Joined President William Samoei Ruto during the launching of the construction of the Gamba-Kegogi road, Kitutu Chache North- Kisii County. The seven kilometre road will connect Kisii to Ahero at Oyugis and ease movement of people and goods and services to the market.
