This weekend I watched The Producers at Maidenhead Arts Centre. I'm no theatre critic but I have never enjoyed a musical (or play) so much in my life

Ashleigh Wells as Max Bialystock, the cynical Broadway producer who tries but fails to make a flop in Springtime For Hitler, was absolutely captivating throughout, so I told him so. Not often I ask for a selfie :)

An absolute bawdy, manic hoot throughout, the post-woke revolution moves to the regions - and the gay Nazi repeatedly giving Heil Hitler salutes was worth the ticket price alone
